Money Saving Mum

It wasn’t so long ago that the very idea of sharing somebody else’s things gave you goose bumps – remember those terrifying hand-me-downs from Great Aunty Nora?

But now, thanks to the new penny savvy generation of sharers, it’s all become very normal. (Whatever normal is) What we do know, is that it’s a great way to save money or to make money, to help the community and to lower your carbon foot print.

Instead of spending out on expensive things that will only get used once or twice and then piled into the loft or garage for safe keeping, why not borrow the item to sounds pounds and reduce the clutter? So if you have children that want to try lots of different hobbies, enjoy camping trips with the family or have a bouncy castle their birthday party... You can borrow it all for tons of fun! (and for less than the price of a day trip to Bognor)

And not forgetting the not so ‘fun’ stuff around the house, the practical DIY stuff... You can borrow all of those expensive tools, equipment and machinery, and get the jobs done with perfectionist expertise. Hurrah, girl power!

If it’s a little dosh you need to make before Christmas, dig out all those items you hardly use. Take a closer look, they’re in every room of the house; bits and bobs that were a spontaneous purchase or bought with great intentions. You know, that rowing machine, foot pump and all those phone chargers? Start getting them to earn their keep!

Feel good that you’re helping towards living more sustainably, with far less waste. Get mum savvy – spend less and earn more today.

Borrow, Lend, Earn, Save, Connect...
